Location, Area, and Climate
Location: Semiahmoo Resort is located in Blaine, Washington, near the US-Canada border. It is surrounded by the Salish Sea and provides an authentic Pacific Northwest experience from hiking through the evergreen trees to beachcombing and smelling the salt water.

Climate: As a seaside resort, you’ll experience a cooler ocean climate. August is the hottest month at Semiahmoo, with the highest temperatures being in the 70s. The rainiest month is October and the coldest month is January.
Best time of year to Visit: The best time of the year to visit Semiahmoo Resort is from May to September. These months are warm and beautiful, allowing guests to enjoy all the activities the resort has to offer. August is the hottest month and therefore the best month to swim in the sea.
Semiahmoo Resort Meeting and Event Spaces
The property offers event spaces for up to 600 guests. However, it is also an ideal space for smaller, intimate groups for retreats and team building.
These event spaces include:
- 7,200 sq ft activity hall
- 6,500 sq ft ballroom
- 3,600 sq ft Club Pavilion
- 13 meeting rooms.

Activities and Amenities
Semiahmoo Resort offers numerous activities and amenities to keep you busy or help you relax. They have a spa, golf course, event spaces, dining, bike riding, yard games, a beautiful pool, hot tub, sauna, beach bonfires, pickleball and tennis courts, and a fitness center.
Lodging and Guest Rooms
The resort offers guest rooms and suites. Their standard guest room is the Semiahmoo room, but guests can upgrade to the Semiahmoo Premier room, which has a balcony, or the Patio rooms, with personal patio space.
Guests also have the standard, premier, and patio Water View rooms to choose from, with stunning views of Semiahmoo Bay. Semiahmoo resort also offers the Marina Suite, Water View Suite, and Point Roberts Suite to its guests. Finally, the resort is pet friendly so your furry friends can join in the fun.
They also offer vacation rentals in the Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club area for larger groups or extended stays.
